More About This Collection

U.S. Mint Silver Coins

Explore U.S. Mint Silver Coins at LCR Coin, featuring certified American Silver Eagles, modern Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars, silver commemorative coins, and traditional U.S. Mint silver coins. Our collection brings together some of America's most recognizable silver coin designs, offering collectors a selection of dates, finishes, special designations, and certified grades.

From the iconic Walking Liberty design of the American Silver Eagle to the return of the Morgan and Peace Dollars, modern U.S. silver coinage combines American history, artistic craftsmanship, and contemporary numismatic collecting.

Certified American Silver Eagles

First introduced in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has become one of the most widely recognized modern U.S. silver coin series. Each coin contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and features Adolph A. Weinman's celebrated Walking Liberty design, originally introduced on the half dollar in 1916.

The original reverse, designed by John Mercanti, features a heraldic eagle with a shield. In 2021, the U.S. Mint introduced a redesigned reverse by Emily Damstra depicting an eagle carrying an oak branch as it prepares to land.

Our Certified Silver Eagles collection includes coins authenticated and graded by PCGS, NGC, and CAC, with available MS70 and PF70 examples, Proof and Burnished finishes, special labels, signature editions, and anniversary releases.

Collectors can explore individual dates, complete sets, and distinctive certified issues representing nearly four decades of American Silver Eagle history.

Modern Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars

The United States Mint revived two of America's most celebrated silver dollar designs in 2021, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the final year of the original Morgan Dollar series and the introduction of the Peace Dollar.

Originally designed by George T. Morgan, the Morgan Silver Dollar debuted in 1878 and became closely associated with America's westward expansion and the great silver discoveries of the nineteenth century.

The Peace Silver Dollar, designed by Anthony de Francisci, was first issued in 1921 to commemorate the restoration of peace following World War I. Its radiant Liberty portrait and eagle design remain enduring symbols of American numismatic artistry.

Modern Morgan and Peace Dollars are struck in .999 fine silver and have been issued in a variety of collectible finishes, including Uncirculated, Proof, Reverse Proof, and special anniversary releases.

Explore our Modern Morgan and Peace Dollars collection for available certified examples, two-coin sets, special designations, and limited-mintage releases graded by leading certification services.

Modern U.S. Silver Commemorative Coins

Modern U.S. silver commemorative coins celebrate significant events, historical milestones, notable Americans, and institutions that have shaped the nation's history.

The modern commemorative program began in 1982 with the George Washington 250th Anniversary Half Dollar, reintroducing commemorative coinage after a lengthy absence.

Since then, the United States Mint has released silver commemoratives honoring subjects ranging from American independence and military service to historic achievements, national landmarks, and cultural anniversaries.

Our Silver Commemoratives collection features available certified U.S. Mint issues, including Proof and Mint State examples, special labels, and selected anniversary releases.

These coins offer collectors an opportunity to explore American history through distinctive designs and limited production programs.

Traditional U.S. Mint Silver Coins

In addition to our certified silver collections, explore traditional U.S. Mint Silver Coins, including American Silver Eagles offered outside our primary certified-coin categories.

American Silver Eagles are produced by the United States Mint as part of its American Eagle bullion coin program. These coins contain one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and feature designs recognized by collectors throughout the world.

While certified numismatic silver coins may carry additional premiums based on grade, rarity, special designations, and collector demand, traditional Silver Eagles are generally priced more closely to their silver content and prevailing precious metal market prices.

Collecting Certified U.S. Silver Coins

U.S. Mint silver coins offer numerous collecting opportunities, from assembling complete American Silver Eagle date sets to collecting modern Morgan and Peace Dollars, commemorative releases, and special anniversary issues.

Collectors may focus on MS70 and PF70 grades, Proof and Reverse Proof finishes, special certification labels, or limited-mintage coins commemorating important moments in American history.

Professional authentication and grading by PCGS, NGC, and CAC help collectors evaluate certified coins according to recognized grading standards.
