Edmund C. Moy served as the 38th Director of the United States Mint. Moy didn't stop there, he served in the George W. Bush administration as Special Assistant to the President and in 2003, he served on the transition team for the newly created Department of Homeland Security. Ed Moy has been involved with numerous successful coin programs including the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle and oversaw the introduction of the American Buffalo 24 karat gold program. Moy initiated a number of new U.S. Mint programs including the Presidential Dollar series, National Parks Quarter Dollars, and the five ounce silver America the Beautiful program.
