How it works

Step 1 – The first step for the IRA “Individual Retirement Account” is to contact our approved IRA Custodian (Equity Trust) and open a “Self-Directed” account. Custodian will provide all the necessary paperwork to open an account.

Step 2 – After the IRA account has been established and opened you will then fund the account with enough funds to Purchase Metals as well as Storage Fees. Each depository will charge a small % fee for storing the metals in your IRA depository. This fee is usually a Fraction of a percent to hold the metals, insurance, and accounting for the metals at the depository.

Step 3 – After the account has been funded through the custodian, the custodian will send over a Buy Direction Letter. This is a letter showing that the customer has x amount of funds available to purchase precious metals.

Step 4 – Once the Buy Direction has been sent to LCR Coin, we will then contact our customer and go over the pricing and products available. We do not lock in any prices until we can confirm the prices with our customers.

Step 5 – After we have locked in the price, we send over a purchase order to both the customer and custodian. The custodian will then send over payment from your account to our LCR Coin account.

Final Step – The metals will be shipped for free to your depository and placed inside of your storage account. Both LCR Coins and the depository will send over shipping confirmations for the products shipped.
